The practise is traditionally called Marma Vidya - from "Kalaripayattu" lineage, Kerala, South India. Legend has it that "Marma Vidya" is the oldest form of massage in the world, and "Kalari" is the origin of all martial arts. A combination of hands, palms, elbows and wooden sticks are used to touch on every single muscle, ligament, tendon, fibre, pressure point, join, bone and blood circulation points, to spark your meridian system into full flow increasing blood pressure, oxygen delivery, pranic energy. As my teacher says "It is like a plumbing job of the body". Sound Healing is available as as an extra add-on to complete your session, highly recommended!
